Spot the Storm Gathering
Keep an eye out for Jourop cards in the wild. They could be tucked into a book at a coffee shop, left on a park bench, or pinned to a community bulletin board. They are the first signs of the storm.
Receive Your Mission
Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code on the card. This will take you to a webpage revealing your unique challenge and the purpose behind it.
Become the Raindrop
Complete your mission. This is the moment of impact. The goal isn't to be perfect; it's to practice. Engage with the challenge with an open heart and see what you learn about yourself and the world.
Grow the Storm
After you've completed the challenge, visit our community hub to log your find. Then, hide the card in a new spot for the next person to discover, spreading the storm one drop at a time.
The Colors of the Storm: A Strategic Toolkit
On our homepage, we introduce the three commitments at the heart of our storm. Each Jourop color is a tool designed to help us practice the skills needed to make those commitments real.
We Check Our Privilege.
🟢 Green (Personal Growth) & 🟡 Yellow (Positivity & Joy) Jourops are practices of learning and reflection. They are challenges designed to help us "Check Our Privilege" and see the world from a new perspective.
We Redefine Strength.
🟣 Purple (Courage & Standing Up) & 🔴 Red (Love & Connection) Jourops are our training ground to "Redefine Strength." They are small, real-world missions to build our courage muscle, practice vulnerability, and step into the arena.
We Practice Solidarity.
🔵 Blue (Communication & Voice) & 🟠Orange (Community & Gratitude) Jourops are how we "Practice Solidarity." They are challenges of connection and communication, designed to interrupt hate and build a tangible network of support.
The Drizzle Before the Downpour
A storm doesn't start with a thunderclap; it begins with a single drop. To make the game as welcoming as possible, the physical cards you find in the wild are our foundational practices of courage and connection (Red, Orange, and Yellow Jourops).
The deeper, more reflective challenges (Green, Blue, and Purple Jourops) are often reserved for our Weekly Drop in the online community, where we can build our skills together with a network of support.
